It's been 6 months since I updated this thing. I'm not gonna bore you with a very long update, just gonna drop by to tell you that I'm finally free. A week ago to this day I graduated, and it was one of the best days of my life. Not only because I'm finished with school for a while, but because two of my best friends were here to celebrate it with me. We spent a lovely 10 days together, and we've had heaps of fun, and I showed them my home city, and they met my family, and I'm so, so grateful that they came such a long way (Australia and Canada) for a second meet-up. It's truly been great, and it felt so surreal most of the time.

Well, actually I came back from London two days ago, just took a day to rest.
To sum it up - it was the best week of my life, despite two cancelled flights and a lost luggage. Long story.
Meeting ~elizabethmuller (https://www.deviantart.com/elizabethmuller), :iconbillie-x-jean:, :iconirispirate: and Beth was SO great, everything I've imagined it'd be like. We did almost all of the stuff we wanted to do, visited Freddie's old house, Marc Bolan's memorial tree, Abbey Road, a lot of tourist-y stuff and some shopping! I miss them all so much now, daw.
Next trip will probably be America.
I'm gonna go watch Stevie Riks videos on YouTube and adore people in my life.

Sorry for the long absence, I was so busy with work before I left Sweden. I just now got back from Tennessee, and we have decided to get married in Sweden instead, when he visits next year.
thank you so much for all the advice and links! It'll just be so much easier for us, and my family wouldn't be able to go to America (I have a big family with lots of little siblings) so there's going to be two minor ceremonies instead of one.

Its all good man - life can be busy at times. Is it his first time visiting? First time meeting the parents? 
My fiancee is visiting next week for a few weeks (not long enough - and you know how bad good byes suck
) - her mother is coming too, she's going to meet my parents and all. So I'm trying to get the house all sorted

I recently wrote a blogpost on how we manage through them, smiling! Try it, it actually works. All you have to do is smile through crying and cry through smiling and smile, smile, smile! It's gonna be contagious and you know you'll see each other soon again. When are you guys getting married?
Good luck with meeting her mother! I'm sure she'll love you! May you have the time of your lives and Merry Christmas! (In Sweden we celebrate on the 24th - going over to my dad's place for some food and see my little siblings again, give them my Christmas gifts, etc.)
